Well, thanks for your "insights". I don't know why your bragging about the Americans' jumping ability, considering all the downgrades Caroline got (justly) hit with.
Caroline had no downgrades. 7 ratified triples.

Without judges' favorism, these European girls will have ZERO chance.
High PCs always go with high tech. Leonova is a Tech skater so she will always get high PC scores.

Bthw, Leonova CAN jump.
Go, Alena!!!!!
Ratified by whom? I'd rather wait for the protocols.Caroline had no downgrades. 7 ratified triples.
The Europeans want a first class lady skater. I think the European judges outnumber the Asian, N.American judges.

Many skaters, from both sides of the Atlantic, get edge calls and URs. I don't really see a need for anyone to turn this into an American vs. European thing. But that's where the ignore feature comes in handy (not in reference to you, Dave).

In the short program. Underrotated both triples, I believe. She's not known for her jumping, they're not high and the landings aren't fluid, plus the worst mule kick I've ever seen. Her strengths are in other areas.
That is always and will be the case...unless US and Canada will fall in pieces!

I'm happy for her.
