All Brian Joubert News!

Brian was gorgeous at NHK! I'm so glad he came back from his disappointing 4th place at TEB to win NHK.

He deserved every single high mark he got, not only for the pizzazz he brings to his skating, but also for being the only one to land a quad. Many people talk, but he's the only one that came through, which is part of being a great champion.

I was disappointed with such a lacklustre interview. :yes:
Like many skating fans I was primarily interested in hearing Brian's latest views about other skaters.:biggrin:

Atleast Plushy gave us that much in his last interview when he pointed out shortcomings of several skaters. I remember how Pluhsy declared Evan needs to be penalized because his 3A's are pre-rotated.
I wonder what Evan might say about Plushy's dazzling spins :laugh:

If Plushy really said that - he is more daring than I thought. But he is also right. Nevertheless, that is like Chan asking the judges to lower Joubert's PCS, Verner asking the judges to lower Plushenko's PCS... Maybe all the skaters shouldn't skate anymore, but simply hand in a sheet where they say how their rivals should be scored. The skater who gets the best scores from his competitors, wins the World / Olympic crown.

I read it on the Plushy thread a few weeks ago. Maybe right before or right after Rostel Cup. Honest, he said it, and it is still probably on Plushy thread

Mischin said much worse things about several skaters which is also kind of jerky, but atleast he is a coach and not a skater
 
have you read all interviews of evgeni or this one was the convienent one?And he did not say what you quoted though..
you should change your online translator anyway cause Mishin had a great interview praising lots of athletes who emerged the last years, I cant find interview,but be sure that Plushyta will.

Until recently I read many of the interviews on Plush thread.
I think he said exactly what I said about Evan, and don't see it as a big deal.
Plushy seems like a true sportsman and he is the Olympic Champion so it is fair for him to speak his mind.

I don't have much interest to read anything from Mischin unless it is about his crazy vest :biggrin:
 
well you translated more free than google i guess with Evan should be penalized stuff etc..And Mishin didnt speak bad about other skaters I guess..

Evgeni also in the interview that was among his lasts after Rostel was asked again and said that he is tired of this question about who is his competitor and he prefers to focus on his own problems which are spins and steps. Plushyta find this.

I finally saw all Nhk sp programs in a row, not just youtube and it changed my whole image. And I was really impressed by Brezina and Abott, Takahashi's program is the best I think but Kozuka..I was saying it since last year, he is just amazing to watch, it was like watching him live again in Rostel evan with the bad luck at the 3axel, I will never get tired of his program! But my most surprise is Joubert and skating last I expected to be bored after all the previous ones, but his program is refreshed, he was fast, I totally would cheer for him if I was in the audience and I even liked his new sp costume!..it must be the bump on the head...:rolleye:

Have you seen the medal ceremony at NHK? Johnny also looked stunning, Brezina cute - but I couldn't take my eyes of the Frenchman. When he is happy, he is even twice as handsome.

Let me be shallow!
 
Ah well shallow moments are permitted when we speak about Jouby;)..Yes he was stunning bright:) More handsome when he speaks english I think! Plushyta will ban me for plush fan society for this

And Weir is also sexy when he speaks russian..Of course Evgeni is also sexy when he speaks english. All of them should try to speak greek i think:biggrin:
