``Sometimes it's great, (but) the injuries and equipment problems have been a nightmare for me, very stressful,'' she said. ``I have been just putting one foot in front of the other no matter how hard it has been, and it has been paying off now. It has been a very frustrating Fall, and it's nice to be skating well again. The difference is amazing.''
This seems to me confirmation that she withdraw from her two GP events in part because she just was not ready. This is the first I heard of equipment problems (i guess boots?) and the most frustrated she has sounded in a while. I hope that she is speaking the truth when she says that things are going better now.
I don't anyone is surprised that she won't be trying a 3/3. I really don't think she needs it for nationals.
, I also wish her the best of luck and am hoping for fall free programs from her(and all the rest of the girls competing) I want those judges to work and not have an easy time picking a winner. I also selfishly want to see everyones programs the way they were intended...fall free
