As of today Laura is still listed as a participant on the official website.Laura Lepisto has withdrawn - from Japan Open ... it will be intressting who will skate for her. Makarova, Leonova, Kostner, Marchei, Gedenavishvili .....
It was an article of Kiira Korpi in Finnish newspaper Ilta-Sanomat today. There was also an interview of Laura, who said she will not attend Finlandia Trophy (8.-10.10.) in Vantaa. That means, she will not attend Japan Open either. Her first competition this season will be in GP series (at least she hopes so).
Oh that's a pity! It would have been great to see her at Finlandia Trophy. The injury seems to be quite rough. Like Kiira had two years ago...
I don't know of you already heard this but Laura won't attend to her GP competition in Canada. She is planning to attend Skate America in November. Probably she's not ready with her recovering.
Berrycute, the music for SP is Besame Mucho.
I kinda find it the opposite. Laura's choreographies have gotten a lot of good reviews previously due to the fact that it's all very well linked and the jumps are placed in different sides of the rink, not just the "ends" (I have no idea how to call that) and the attention to detail. And the step sequences have at least so far been very challenging and demanding. And she has said this one is the most difficult yet! But I agree about the music although I don't want to judge before I see the program. I'd like to see her skate to something very lyrical for a change.
I agree - I always prefer Laura's choreo to Kiira's. Not sure who does Laura - but her choreo strikes me as much more original than Kiira and most Lady skaters.
