Men's Short Program

I mean if he skated good... but on paper usually the TES are a bit over 32 points, right? so to score 50 points on TES the only thing I can think of is that everything got +2...I really want to see the protocols and the SP.

Ummm... he scored 36 at SC for TES, and that's with three falls. Over 50 is high for his TES, no doubt, but anything in the high 40s would be correct.

He is behind Takahashi by under 2. Good for Russia looking like at this point two spots next year.

Ouch for Contesti. 17th place. Good news is that Bradley and Dornbush are a lock for the penultimate group. Here's hoping for some good draws in the skating order.

Go Oda!

My goodness....what is wrong with the Japanese men today? Especially in their step sequences they all looked a kind of tired and worn out. Definitely not their usual selves :/ It's weird...

SO on the Quad, but recovered nicely with a solid 3A and 3Z-3T? I like this program but I don't think it will be enough. He will beat Dai though.

Uh. 78 for that? Beating Florent and Taka? No way!

ETA: Now that I think about it, yes, he could have beat TAka because of his errors...but not Florent!.

The 4/3 is worth a lot of points more than Florent's combo.

what was that in the steps for Nobu?! :(
great to recover the combo with the lutz (after missing it with the quad)
