What is wrong with Google?

For the past two days, whenever I click on a Google search it takes me directly to an advertisement. An example: I type in the name of a skater, say, Michelle Kwan. It comes up with many websites so I pick one and it takes me to listings of car dealerships.

Can someone please tell me how to fix this?

Nothing wrong with Google in my place. Typed "Michelle Kwan", got a bunch of sites, picked up all listed on the first page and all of them were about Michelle Kwan. No cars or car dealers.

I found out during lunch that I have a virus that is doing this. I've been hit by malware three times within the past month. And now this. I no longer play any games on Facebook and I am still getting hit.

Johar, I was going to suggest that it may be a virus...have you gotten rid of it yet??? If so, how did you get rid of it??
