Nebelhorn Trophy 2012

Haven't had a chance to see any videos yet, but looking at the protocols, a couple of things stand out about Keegan Messing's FS:
1) His fall was on his 4T attempt, yet he must have done it with a great deal of style, as not all judges gave him a typical -3, a bunch of -2's and one judge only a -1!
2) His 3A-3T was one of very few in the competition, and the single highest scoring technical element with a monster 14.57.

in fact prove by nebelhorn caroline zhang needs the protection and still proof that the usfsa will not cheat for her like agnes, gracie, leah, mirai, rachel, ashley, alissa . they don't skate well and get high scores they overlook alot of their mistakes still and still is punishing caroline, not overlooking hers.

this doesn't bode well for caroline for rest of season like others, tells me the usfsa still won't hold her up and give her a break, like they did other skaters, too bad.

What does USFSA have to do with Caroline screwing up her own SP at Nebelhorn? They sent her to an international competition, but they can't skate her program for her. They certainly aren't sitting on the Tech Panel nor Judge's chairs. You're talking nonsense again, as with many times in the past. So blind to Caroline's problems that you can't admit she's her own worst enemy. If she had taken the time years ago to learn proper technique, she'd be in a better place right now. In fact, the only thing the USFSA did in the past to Caroline was hold her up in lower levels and especially as a junior, when they should have smacked her down in the scoring and counseled her about fixing her lousy technique before it came back to bite her in the hindquarters.

While I appreciate that she's made strides to fix things over the last couple of years, I think it's too little, too late, given the current and up-and-coming competition in the USA. It's happened to other skaters as well--Caroline is not special in that regard.

that's because he is AWESOME!

All the things I loved about Adelina's skating (her jumps, her youthful energy, her flexibility) are not being showcased in her SP. Her spins are still superb though.

147 means 105.94 for Imai! :agree: Zhang... :bang: Why, Caroline? We all thought this was going to be a fantastic season for her, and she begins it with this kind of result: 78.70! Helgesson  it could have been better, but 96.99 is not a disaster...
