Yes, that is true and the same thing happened to Liza last year on the GP circuit. I dislike the fact that she is so emotionally detached from all her programs but I appreciate her skills and even to me,a non-fan, 35 on TES is low. Edge call maybe?

Zijun had my favourite skate of the first group. The step sequence seemed like it went on forever (especially as she slowed down near the end), but she projects well for such a young skater and was for me much more engaging to watch than Julia.

Zijun Li was charming! A little flaily in the arms and needs to hold on to her spirals a little longer, but solid jumps, and overall very nice! First time seeing her skate - she's still so young, has lots of time to develop.

Zijun Li has won bronze medals at both the Youth Olympics and the junior GP final. She always was going to do well.
