Hahaha maybe. I always kind of just go with my gut, sometimes it works better than others (though after SkAm I am thinking of reevaluating the effectiveness of this strategy).

I've already changed my men's roster about 10 times... My gut keeps changing its mind (not to mention those pesky stats I've collected come bug me also)!!!

Woo hoo, just in time. It is my understanding that the pairs are on the ice and so I am closing predictions.

ETA our predictions are pretty similar. Here's hoping that bodes well for me.

I've already changed my men's roster about 10 times... My gut keeps changing its mind (not to mention those pesky stats I've collected come bug me also)!!!

I just go with my gut, and then let it stay as is. So far, this strategy has not really stood me in such good stead that I'd go around encouraging others to emulate it ;) - however, I'm sure, any other "system" I'd hit upon would do equally badly - or worse! (Things can always get worse!) At least this shows why I seldom try to predict who will do well in the coming season/at a competition...

Since Kaetlyn Osmond withdrew after the short what does that mean for those who ranked her? I'm still a bit confused despite the original post.

If someone has her picked, she goes away and people beneath her are moved up accordingly. That means if a person had an alternate/ pick for 6th, that person is now picked for 5th.

Example:

Julia L, Osmond, Akiko, Gold, Gao, Hicks

would simply become

Julia, Akiko, Gold, Gao, Hicks. So you'd get 15 points for Julia, Akiko, Gao, and Gracie and 10 points for Hicks. It would be as if you'd picked Akiko for second all along instead of having her for third.

Does this make sense?

Perfect sense  thank you!

Dance is up. Our current overall leaders in dance, with 145 points each, are jchamp and sequins galore

Perfect scores for this week were sequins galore, Mentalopes, jchamp, FSGMT, Eclair, Corina.

The mean score was 60.87.

Overall some nice, high scores.

And the Ladies are up too - congrats to HR4 who was the only one getting the top 5 right!

Overall, 55 was definitly the number of the competition ;)

Thanks for your hard work!

I've been comparing my guesses (I can never remember them all), to the actual results, and I'm now off to drown my sorrows in a cup of tea...

At least I did get the top three men... did anyone get them all? Please say somebody did?
