I'm with you, Hikki and Sweetskates! I adore his skating and him and I am so happy with his improved consistency and confidence this year.

Wow, that triple Axel really looked like a quad might have been possible.

I believe it is called Working The System.

You can work the system whilst having choreography which has a purpose, without resorting to blatant time-filling.

Rippon does skate much better than he ever did. I just wish the program had more character and was balanced better.

ETA: 76+ season's best. But he's capable of higher!

Ugh, none of these performances seem to be coming together for Max quite yet. Also I really wish the music didn't speed up right as he's doing his spin? But I like this program on him, and I hope to see it skated cleanly.

The scores seemed a little low, but I think this was a big step forward for him! and he seems happy. love his sweet smiling face.
