US Worlds and Four Continents Teams?

*** is this ****.

I'm done! Give her the ******* olympics and now worlds too when mirai proved she's in way better form than that girl?

Bye **** skating

**** you
**** you stupid skating team full of bs and manipulation.

**** you

so ******* disgusting

You shoved disappointment part 1 in my face now part 2 ?

I read that in her statement this evening, Mirai said she would keep going. I'm sure she doesn't want this experience to be her swan song. Maybe this will be more fire in her.

Mirai should look at this way: If she does well next season and makes the podium, it will be IMPOSSIBLE for them to leave her off the team. And please, for heaven's sake, get a coach!
I think she got that fire in Japan through looking at Japanese Nationals close. She sounded like very impressed and studied a lot from that.

I hope Mirai and Taka slay at 4CCs  and I think it's a better idea to let Polina go to Junior Worlds instead of Worlds and USFS is letting Max go instead of Jason go to Worlds but they don't do the same for Mirai is just dirty :disapp: this is disgusting

I think Mirai should go to Nobuo Sato to train. Mao is retiring and Sato would be good for her since Mirai needs a strict coach. He would be a great coach for her. Does Mirai have a relative lives near Tokyo?

Agreed. Let's hope Ashley doesn't screw up badly at Olympics, with the pressure, and then continue her downward spiral at Worlds.

Polina will be tested at Olympics on senior level judging, why not have her go to Junior Worlds and give Mirai the shot at Worlds since she just showed she can do 2 successful programs under pressure?

I remember she was training with Tahahito Mura. Who was coaching her? His father Takashi?

I think Mirai should skate for the JSF. The USFSA has treated her disgustingly.

JSF does not necessarily have a good reputation, though. Remember they were ready to dispose Suzuki for youngsters after Vancouver.

Either she represents the US or Japan, she needs to get a good coach first. Suzuki made it because of Hiroshi Nagakubo.

Nagakubo is a good jump coach but he is not a good artistic coach. Shizuka was horrible artistically with Nagakubo. Shizuka had one of the worst spins when she was with him. Her layback was the ugliest layback I have seen at the senior level and her camel was just as bad, no extentions whatsoever.

In my heart i want Mirai to go but i as painstaking is it for me to say but i think she just needs to take this on the cheek and move on. I would be happier for her if she just went home, focused on training for 4 continents, go to Taipei and dominate the competition rather than fight in appeals for the next couple of days, and risk losing the appeal and even if she overturned USFS' ruling, she would then have to rush home to train for less time then go to Sochi tired from the appeals.

Nevertheless, i am nothing short of mesmirised of how she was able to pull it off this season. It seemed last year that it was all over for her but her determination to perform well at the right time at nationals is respectable.

In my opinion, mirai should go to worlds instead of Polina Edmunds because Mirai would be better prepared for that over Polina. Having to do worlds after the Olympics is tough and Polina is so talented and burning her out after Sochi is not a good ideain my opinion.

That was when he was in Sendai. Suzuki said there are four assistant coaches (all female) at Howa Sports Land in Nagoya, and they help her in artistry.

It is weird that Adam got Four CC, he was in 6th overall and he still gets a spot. Not that I am complaining, I am happy he will do something, but it just seems random. I agree with others who are questioning why the heck Max Aaron is going to worlds and not Jason Brown, so strange.

Suzuki's spins are just not beautiful to look at. I dont' care about levels. I want to see beautiful skating.

actually I didn't even watch her skate at the Japanese nationals on youtube.

Good. You don't watch her skating and still can tell her level 4 +GOE spins are ugly.

Now, talk about skaters you ACTUALLY watch, but not ones you don't.

ks has probably seen enough of Suzuki on her GP assignments and doesn't need to see more at Nationals. To be fair, it's more of the same.

I'm starting to wonder about how much influence Frank Carroll has. How can one man be so powerful? How does he politik so well?

He's been around for a long, long, long, long, long time. And has coached many noteworthy skaters.
