2014 Olympics Mens Free Skate

I thought the PCS on Ten was a bit strict, but fair. He has lovely edges and flow, and good posture on his jumps, but there was a point I felt he was really focused on the jumps and didn't have the abandon and expressiveness of his FS last year at Worlds. I'd have had his PCS at 84-ish.

I suppose Majorov has a guaranteed Bronze already at Europeans in Sweden ?

It IS Figure skating after all :laugh:

He seems pleased, though lots of messy landings and overall skating

FS: 66.05+75.00 = 141.05 (PB), 224.86 (PB), in 5th (out of 15)

It strange that Abbott manages to finish ahead of Joubert who has make 2 clean quad and Jeremy nothing :disapp:
Brian has a bunch of Level 1's in his spins and steps. But, just like Robin Cousins said, Brian was probably surprise to see his PCS was higher than his TES lol.

I want to kill whoever thought this would be good music for Joubert.

He should have skated to the soundtrack of Magic Mike
LOL

Solid enough skate, but really no choreo. Lacked his trademark spark. But definitely his best Olys so far

You mean in overall skating in both programs? Torino placement will have been higher.

As a fan of BJ's since early 00's, it's been frustrating. COP constantly evolving plus injuries were his demons, I guess.

Alexander Majorov SWE.... FS = 141.05
Total = 224.86
Into 5th

I would watch Brian skate circles on the ice. If there WAS a hotness score, for sure he would have had the olympic gold a loooong time ago! will go down as one of my favorites. Hope to see him coaching in the future!
