Yuna looks great. I feel she is even thinner than 2010, and Mao has visibly grown fuller. Keeping your body small is the strategy that cannot go wrong. Good luck Yuna.

Maybe I'm just odd but I want and kind of expect Kanako to shine and finish ahead of Ashley and Akiko. I would not be surprised to see her in 5th or 6th. The problem is they are all so deserving and only 3 can podium.

And what's sad is, That with all the super talented Ladies in the past 4 years, The podium is projected to consist of 2 Ladies who already have Olympic medals, And one who JUST started seniors :think:

I really like and admire Yuna, especially her consistancy on jumps. However, I agree that she skates like somebody forced her to do. I can not see emotions or passion. And on the other side, her fans behave like she is the goddess, like she is superior to any skater now and from the past and that will come in the future. People love exaggerating and that's so irritating. Like now, who thinks that judges exaggerate Yulia's scores are irritated.

I've been posting her name all over the place. I still hope/think a clean Yulia should place on a podium, whether 1st to 3rd I really don't care. Kanako stealing third would be epic and maybe prevent her from retiring! I'm definetly on board with team Kanako! I just hope the best rise to the top and skate to their potential. 8hrs to go!!!!

This point should be taken notice in the judge meeting. Who wins this event will influence the course of ladies skating in next four years.

What I meant was, Yuna doesn't score herself. I just want her to skate well, no matter the medal. Let the judges do what they will. She can't determine her placement, but she can deliver as she planned for.

We may have different favorites but were on the same page. I wish you and all the Yuna fans the best tomorrow/I guess today. Good skates should bring good results. For me if Yulia skates clean and gets 4th so be it. I get to watch a good skate for years to come right. " Inspiration is its own reward" I think Yulia and Yuna carry similar attitudes toward results and I love both for it!

Yuna - Reputation of a defending champion

Yulia - Home town girl favorite

Mao - Historical ( six different Jumps )

I am hoping they go for Mao because a gold medal will mean much much more if there is a HISTORICAL accomplishment attached to it . It really does seem right dont you think?

I don't think the audiance here cares what triples you do, They mostly care if you're Russian or not
