2014 Olympics Ladies Short Program

Kanako....

I think Yuna's score is a bit low, but not that much. Seems like judges just don't give anyone a level 4 for step, so yes. I'd score her 75+. I'll decide if it's underscored or not after I see other girls' scores.
Anyway she was such a joy to watch tonight. Her Danse macabre is the best SP ever, EVER for me, but this came to second to that.

Thank you all experts for answering about spiral sequence. I didn't notice it was taken out officially. I thought skaters were still doing it, no?? How come it was taken out? Sorry for such a layman question~ :P

Murakami must have some support from the JPN.Fed... Never liked her... I guess there are so many talented girls in Japan. Why choose her?

Well, she did beat Mao at Japanese Nats, and she's better than Imai or Miyahara or any other alternative they have (besides Akiko and Mao).

Valentina skates like a grown-up, which is a real pleasure to watch. She lucked out with that score. Looking forward to her LP.

Two Level 3 elements. The people who thought that she would beat her old record were know-nothing idiots anyway.
That's not true, and very rude. A new WR is not an insured score, but a likely, had Yuna been given the same inflation embedded as Yulia's Teams', which was the least of respect to judging we could've expected from this event...

How the hell did Yu-na only get +1.50 for her 3lz-3toe, while Julia got a +1.40 for a flutz. Something's fishy here.
...like this.

The forum still works.
Ah...

Looks like Polina will finish at least 11th and into the second to last group. Congrats!

The other thing is that GOEs have been lowered since Vancouver. All thinga considered? 74.92 for Yuna isn't abnormal. But I will be upset if anyone (barring Mao) comes close.
