Yuzuru Hanyu: 2013-14 Season

Are Yuzuru's parents involved in his skating activities too? I mean, do they have any say about his schedule given that he really needs time to rest after all that he has done this 2013-2014 season?

I think Orser say his mother is with him most of the time but doesn´t get in to the iceskating side much. If I remember she is a fan of skating but can´t skate.

I think his father is mostly at home. He seem to be respected as a teacher, but I haver never seem an interview of him, pictures. The closes I think I were to see him was back there whe they made a special segment for Yuzuru when he was 16 and he waas driving Yuzuru from a competition but they didn´t show his face.

I will also like to see his sister. They say she looks a lot like Yuzuru.

You are so quick. I was going to post the same video
It is already difficult for me to catch up the thread as it takes me time to read English

Haha find it by luck in tumblr. I´m a spanish speacker. My grammar and pronunciation aren´t all that, but I can read very well :D

I am hoping some good-hearted Yuzuru fan will upload the Yuzuru's performances from the Nagoya festival :D
I'm going to press F5 every hour, staying TUNED.

Gosh, you know, I'm too old to be a fangirl but I feel I'm finally becoming a one, haha.

Even raw videos of the Nagoya festival will do. I'll worry about the commentaries and translations after I have watched Yuzuru's magnificent skating. Still, he needs a break. There's just too much that has happened this season.

I am feeling the same...I haven't been a fangirl since Backstreet Boys...when I was a teenager they were on top,the best boy group at that moment  I was crazy about Nick Carter...if you know what I mean :slink: But now I think I am more like a fanwoman, rather than a fangirl, which is even more weird

I think Yuzuru really has that aura that draws fangirls to him! haha.. Honestly, I actually influenced my mom to join me in watching Yuzuru's videos, although I think she prefers Patrick Chan. At least we won't have any rivalry over Yuzuru at home :love::clap:

we've already been through that  we are officially allowed to be as young and stupid as we feel. best anti-aging substance ever.

@roxella, no way, Brian was way hotter (I can actually feel how my brain is trying to leave my body out of embarrassment  )

Hahaha  You know that BSB reunited? And you know what would be on the top of the most odd things on the planet? Yuzu skating on one of Backstreet Boys songs :rofl:

(again?? isn't there like a statute of limitations on reunions?)

but that's awesome, I like you, you are thinking of fun ways to kill me... current fangirling plus nostalgia fangirling, that would surely be one way to make my head explode  (at least I'd kick it smiling, could be worse)

You are in good company. :) I am old enough that I feel more than a little conflicted about my feelings for this teenager who carries Pooh everywhere with him...but more than anything else, I just admire his immense talent and personality, and his cuteness just happens to be a major bonus. BTW, is anyone else in awe of his perfect skin? :jaw:

I like the little discussion about fangirling  Even though I finish high school this year, I consider myself too old to be a fangirl (I also feel nostalgic right now, I remembered the time I was 10 and I was a fangirl of the tennis player Roger Federer:laugh: )

Anyway, sorry for the off topic and thank you for the photos:)

Oh dearie, I'm finishing college this year! I didn't like admitting to my friends that Yuzu was 19 since it made me seem so creepy haha.

Thanks for the links! Yuzu looks flawless per usual.

As for the skin - I caught myself watching a whole Japanese interview(I don't understand a single word apart from "hai" and "arigato") just to look at it closely.
And I must admit it felt like mediation. Do you see how bad my case is? I've just realised it.
I've been watching fs for many years and I've always had my favourites - the athletes I had great admiration for, but I'm being that awkward for the first time.

EDIT
And YES, thank you, folks, for the photos and all the media.

I'm just glad he's over 18  counts in my book (I'll just go be ashamed of myself :o:)
