Tatiana Volosozhar & Maxim Trankov

As you wrote - not every coach is right for every skater and vice versa. Trankov correctly realized that it was not the right situation for him, and when the opportunity presented itself, he moved on. No need for over the top commentary about karma and divine justice (I should hope that if such a thing indeed exists, any divine justice is saved for more important matters).
It looks like this thread has drawn a lot of new posters whose main interest is expressing their admiration for V/T as skaters and people. This is fine, but if that's the main focus of this thread, then it belongs in the fanfest section of the forum, where fans can have positive-only discussions of their favorites. The fanfest section was introduced in the 2011-12 season, and I think it's a good idea for fans to have a place where they can discuss their favorites without interruption from those who feel otherwise. If it's in The Edge, however, then any skater is fair game for criticism and debate, so long as the posts are in line with forum rules.
So: If people want to spend their time expressing their delight about all things V and T, well, it's not something I find interesting myself, but there is nothing wrong with it. But again, in that case, it should be a fanfest thread. And I don't see why that requires trashing other people in the skating world, so I do object to some of those posts.
Ok, point by point...

Since Vasiliev has won OGMs as both a skater and a coach, I'd say he's done pretty well for himself, even if things did not work out well during the M/T years (and I've heard some interesting stories as to why that was). If coaching skaters to an OGM turns one into an amazing coach, well, do you see the problem with your logic?
No, it doesn't make any one amazing. I used "amazing" for their personal qualities, in the first place. Sorry, if I didn't put it clear enough, English isn't my first language. Mozer has been a coach of olympic champions only for a couple of months already, but I've considered her amazing since I first began to hear about her - judging by her interviews, her attitude, her methods of work... She can see the athletes as equals - it's rare. (Not to mention, that it can't be unimportant for the coaching work as well - a coach needs to be a good psychologist, doesn't s/he?)
No need for over the top commentary about karma and divine justice (I should hope that if such a thing indeed exists, any divine justice is saved for more important matters).
A person, who had suffered much bad stuff, eventually getting his reward - no, I don't think that it is too insignificant for the higher justice... And anyway, that was rather a metaphor.

If it's in The Edge, however, then any skater is fair game for criticism and debate
And any coach, I suppose.

And I don't see why that requires trashing other people in the skating world, so I do object to some of those posts.
Ok, let's see.
One more thing about Oleg Vasiliev that I forgot to mention in the previous post... Vasiliev was commenting the pairs competitions at the Olympics. As I have said already, the fs commentators in Russia often invite this or that skater or coach to comment together, so Vasiliev was invited for the pairs event. I must say it for him, he commented it decently enough - I didn't notice any grudge against V/T in his words... Though, maybe, he was just clever enough to understand, that any criticism now would only backfire at himself, would make him look pathetic and jealous... Anyway, all this looked like a higher, divine justice, honestly. Maxim and Tanya sharing their happiness with their amazing coaches - and Vasiliev blabbing in the commentary booth, giving coverage to this historical moment. Ha ha.
No bashing or calling names here - just a description of facts, that were actually taking place. The only thing, that was my supposition, was supplied with "maybe".

And, as it was truly said here, the point was not Vasiliev's coaching abilities (though a coach, behaving in such a way, casts quite an expectable doubt on them), but his human qualities. I can't see how pitting the whole fs society (fans, other coaches) against your former sportsman could be right, in any situation. This isn't the mark of a good human - in sports or anywhere else...

And I didn't even notice at first, that the thread was moved! Entered through the "history of recently browsed pages" (or how it is properly called in English...)

My part in any previous discussion here is finished, because this is now a fan fest thread. As I explained yesterday, once a thread is designated as a fan fest, I'm not going to ruin the fun for the fans. That would defeat the point of this sort of thread, as per the description for this section:

The Fan Fests features threads on individual figure skaters and/or teams for posters who have favorites! Feel free to start a thread if you do not see your skater/team listed. Please keep posts positive and related to the skater/team accordingly.

You can see what my approach to fan fests is here; I have nothing to add to that post.

At 3pm (Russian time) they're gonna broadcast an interview with Tanya and Max at that radio where they were photographed yesterday (radio 2x2). By google translator they'll talk about the price of the Olympic medal. Maybe there will be some articles with the interview to find out what they said.

Edit: link to the interview, in 2 parts, probably requires a vk account.

Awww thanks for link!!! How it's beautiful to hear their voices...

I haven't so much time for translate everything but this 2 question from the end of program, it's just  :

Interviewer: your favorite method of battle with tiredness?
Tanya: to sleep
Max: to watch how Tanya sleeps *laugh*

Lol:laugh: it's first and second...

Int.: are you happy now?
Tanya: yes, absolutely
Max: i'm generally always happy. Since moment when stand in pair with Volosozhar - all, happiness came.

And little remark from interviewer , she write it in vk comments:
"You should have seen the way how Trankov looks on Volosozhar! Everybody need to have such person..and we will be happy.."
And another one "they all (Tanya,Max and Irina) so much beautiful and radiate an inner light but!Trankov and Volosozhar..in moments like this i'm pity that can't send by words the power of this love. Only a little on photos - look how Tanya shines...":)

Haha me neither
Would be really great if someone would translate what they say :)

I'm at work right now, so unfortunately I don't have so much time for translation now. But at least I listened to the broadcast. Being at work (a bit stressed) I only remember the last question right now.

Program host: And the most important of things that your admirers would like to know about you: are you happy?
Tanya: Absolutely.
Max: In general I am always happy. Since I became a pair [here I think he means since he started skating with Tanya] with Tanya, happiness arrived.

They also talked about how they every time they come to a new place send a postcard for Max's mother. How they decide upon music and costumes for their programs. How Max's most important victory was to skate with Tanya (winning Olympic gold etc is something that came along with that) etc. I have to get back to work now, so I hope some other Russian speakers could help out a bit here. :)

Good danya that you're also on this. You posted while I was writing my message... ;)

 That's just so....adorable. I can't even find words for that

OMG I thought you were serious for a second

Oh, sorry! No, no, no! Was just being sarcastic in response to some things that were posted yesterday. I'll try to behave myself now ;) By the way, thanks so much for those photos! Relationship timing-wise, those were some of the most exciting we've seen. So the date of those would have been ???

The last thing I want to do is cause more trouble, but now that we're in Fan Fest (which is perfectly fine with me), should the "Documentary" part be dropped from the thread name, or would that just be an unnecessary complication? Everyone please ignore this question if you prefer

The photos where she sits on his lap? Those are also from the Eric Bompard Trophy in 2011.

Thank you girls so much for the interview quotes. Seems like Maxim is head over heels in love with Tatiana and everyone who sees them notices it.

I saw some tweets from the radio station with quotes from them. Tanya says Maxim chooses the music for their programs, Maxim said it was a risk to combine pairs skating with ice dance for their programs but it paid off. And they even tweeted their hight and weight lol Tatiana Height - 159cm., Weight - 46 kg. Maxim - Height 185cm., Weight - 78km

danya the lady interviewer commented more in vk, she said something about promising to be together forever, something like that. Is she talking about Tatiana and Max?

That must definitely be Max's hoodie that Tatiana is wearing.

Awww thanks i don't see!
She said "they are promises that only like this in future: always double, always together - in trouble and in happines, without poverty and diseases"

Sounds almost like wedding vows
Isn't that what people always say?
