I think they're in Saint P, because there are photos with fans and sightings. Maybe they traveled by train, who knows.

He posted a photo of Dexter at home after so I assumed they went to Moscow. Oh well.

PS: I've read a recent interview with Oleg Vasiliev and in this one he again said he moved to Chicago for a while after Maxim and Maria split as a pair because he suffered too much emotional damage LOL He's the one complaining. And he takes credit too for Maxim's gold medal saying Max learned a lot in the 4 years he coached him. And he said he congratulated Max but doesn't remember if Max thanked him or not.

This is one of the few photos I've seen where Tanya and Max are not sitting together!! (But Tanya is probably resting her feet on Max's legs or something... Always have to be touching!)

That radio interview really reminds me of something Max's former coach (from BEFORE Vasiliev) said back in 2012.

LV: No, Mukhortova/Trankov's situation was different. Trankov is a very talented choreographer. I think this is what he'll do in the future. When he was skating in my husband's group Maksim had an equal part in their programmes choreographing. He later found himself in a situation when he was just silenced all the time. He had no right to speak out his mind. So when he was offered to pair with a girl who works with a smile on her face and a great mood - I mean Volosozhar, of course he jumped on the opportunity. Tanya and Maksim came here for a week when they just started skating together. He was showing her off! Maksim is in a good relationship with Nikolai Matveevich, so they spent a lot of time on the ice here and was just asking to skate a bit more. He was shining with happiness. Of course he feels comfortable now.

So sounds like Max started "shining" (thanks to Tanya the sun, of course) from the very beginning! So cute that Max was already showing her off!

ETA If you read further in the interview, you'll see that she said she wanted Tanya & Max to skate together from much earlier on (but we knew that already.)

Yes, she live in Kiev but she came in March in Moscow

Those fan meetings from Japan were so awesome! Awesome because I could actually understand everything that was said! For once I can help translate!

I have just watched the fan meeting video and I would like if anybody knows what Tatiana says in 22:11 when Max is speaking about her...
BTW, I think the moment she 'huges' him, she is really dancing their Masquerade program.... And I just loooved the way he looks at her just after that.... Like they were alone at the room

That moment was so cute--Tanya wanting to dance. And it was so sweet to hear Max talk about his sun. I couldn't hear Tanya, but according to the translator, she said, "thank you very much...thank you for complimenting me so much."

A question. Around 21:15 the lady asks them "what's the secret of your ...". I don't understand the word.

The fan asks, "Tanya, why are you so pretty? Please tell us the secret of your beauty!"

That part with the cutting of the cake was so cute! It totally made me think of a wedding...which makes me wonder, how do you think Max would propose??

Do you think Max would do a very public proposal like that? (To tell the truth, a small part of me thought Max might propose at the end of the Olympics gala! ) I don't think he would do it at a competition, though, because then he wouldn't be able to concentrate!

Or do you think he'd do something very private--maybe back in Paris, where it all began (we think)...
Or maybe in New York, since they always seems to be there around Tanya's birthday...

I find the proposal of Tong so emotional even though I don't understand anything

Part of me somewhat wants him to propose in a competition or gala 'cause then we'd see it
On the other side I believe that he's far too shy to do it in front of everyone.
Paris is of course a place everyone would want to get a proposal at
IN the end it'll probably some Maxim-like thing no one really expects

Oh how I love this I´m sure it would be a VERY emotional proposal, Maxim would be crying and when he goes down on his knees and Tanya knows what´s going on she would start crying too. I don´t think it would be a public proposal though. But why not Paris, or maybe on some sunny holiday

When she has said yes (which I count on) he will take her in his arms and spin her around, it wouldn´t surprise me if he screamed out his happiness either. Then they kiss OK I think I got a bit carried away

My guess is no...I think for a long time (maybe even from the first time they met!), Tanya and Max were attracted to each other, but either weren't really aware of it, or didn't think much about it because they already with other people.

This is purely my speculation, but, I think that in the 2010-11 season, they were so focused on coming together as a team and performing well at Worlds that they didn't have much time to think about anything else (i.e. their personal lives).

And if you look at how they all interacted in the Kiss&cry after 2011 Worlds FS, it just seems like one big happy family, so I think Tanya & Stas were still together then (see the group hug at the end!).

My GUESS is that it wasn't until the off-season (after 2011 Worlds) that Stas/Tanya broke up. When she and Max no longer had an excuse to spend all day long together (at practice), and when Stas was around more because he didn't have to coach, maybe that's when she realized that she and Stas had grown apart...

FS2010: to Tanya - is it hard t o combine the working and personal relationships with Stas? Does it happen that you come home and the training continues?
TV: Since we stopped skating together it became much easier. Besides, Stas has other teams he coaches. He works with them at the morning before we come to the rink, then he has plenty to do later. I hardly see him. At the evenings everythign is calm.

So different from Max and Tanya who NEED to spend all their time together! :yes:

I couldn't agree more, that Tanya and Max clicked right from the beginning and as we said many pages back probably had to fight their feelings too for a while. orangella, I think she was still with Stas during AOI 2011, that if we were right that Max broke up with his gf in October and Tanya 6 months earlier. I'm sure those 6 months were a torment for Maxim, not knowing what to do, but as he said they were already having problems. Just looking at the photos of the group (with Tanya, Max and Sasha) in NY that summer, Max and Sasha looked like friends, far from a loving couple. In some photos Max is even carrying Tanya's purse.

As for the proposal, I think he would never do it in public, they do wanna separate a the professional life from the personal one and he seems shy many times. But I think he would involve Dexter in it in a way

Maxim and Sasha probably broke up in November 2011 and Maxim said that Tanya and Stas broke up 6 months earlier, so I don´t think they broke up until maybe May 2011.
