Yeah, a list of the Eurosport vids could be good idea. Maybe everyone can post what they find. And we definitely need a list of Gala rehearsals too, at least starting with the end of 2011.

Today is Ivan's birthday, so I expect some party hard photos from Maxim later lol. BTW I noticed that the person who started to use the term partyhard a long time ago is Tanya's brother-in-law, he uses it all the time.

A huge thank you kinoriH for taking time to gather them!i can't wait to start watching them when I get home.

Also thanks for the Tanya/Stas video. Now I understand better what Stas can teach Maxim. Yes, he had problems with the jumps and twist, probably because of his constitution, but the throws and lifts were amazing. Unfortunately for him he lacked grace. And I also have to add that to me indeed Tanya is the best pairs woman skater in this world. And pairing her with the best male pair skater lead to the wonderful success of V/T.

I read a short interview today where they asked Max what's the secret of their Olympic gold and he said that it's the fact that they simply skate for each other.
 
What I find kind of interesting is that the experts opinions differ very much.
I got the Nebelhorn Trophy (where they first showed their olympic programs) with British and German commentators.
While the British were over the moon during both programs the Germans said it was nothing special and that they're no danger for S/S this year 'cause JCS is not that of a good program. :disapp:
 
kinoriH thank you for compiling the list and especially for those two videos of Tanya and Stas!!! Max's utter despair in the second video :laugh: I'm glad it all going well for them now though :biggrin:

I've heard loads of people say they don't/didn't like the JCS programme, that they deserve a better programme, especially for Olympic year. I'm just curious what you guys think about that. IMO, I think it was a good programme which got them the points they needed and got the job done, which was getting the OGM. I don't think this really was the year to go experimenting with crazy stuff, especially with what's at stake. Although with that said, I still like their Black Swan programme more.

Btw, aren't the German commentators always criticizing/complaining about V/T anyway? I remember them going on and on about it during the Olympic gala

Yes their Black Swan is my favorite performance as well :yes: I'm quite curious what they'll do next.

Yes they are. I am very curious what they'll do the next seasons. Technically they can't critizise them anymore 'cause S/S don't skate together anymore and there's no other good pair coming up.
I just think it's really unfair to say that the Russian politician would've pulled some strings so that V/T win the Olympics no matter what. :disapp:

With the exception of the music (don't like that violin piece for a figure skating program AT ALL :disapp:), I love everything about this particular performance and their time in the kiss & cry. Even Max's stumble results in us getting to see how his "sun" cheerfully handles the situation and probably calms his little emotional fit (ha ha) quicker than he alone or anyone else could have done. Also in this video, not only are the blade sounds really loud, but you can easily hear Max's signal word (it sounds like the same one I heard in the Olympic LP) to Tanya during the side by side spins starting @ 2:22.

Have only had a chance to watch the Tanya/Stas videos so far, but really enjoyed them......in a curiosity kind of way, if you know what I mean. Can't believe that the short clip of miserable Max was edited into that second video - LOL! The look on Maria's face, too :p Bless his heart. Love the comment below the video where someone says, "Don't worry. She's going to be your partner next year." :biggrin:
