hey guys.. I found a VK video from Maxim and Maria's last ever performance together, at Kings on ice 2010. He went on his knee in front of the whole crowd and thanked her. This just shows his real character. He could have ended his partnership with her the same night and not even say hello, considering the hard time she's given him (and i'm being nice). But instead he chose to honor her and to thank her as he continues on with his career.

I think you need to be a VK member in order to see it. not sure.
little note: i THINK it's from Maxim's father old VK account. But it doesn't matter if it's fake or not- some of the pictures are really heartbreaking to see now... :cry: he really was their biggest fan.

That video is just too sad, I feel sorry for Maria, but the whole mess was her fault too.

I thought they would go back to Moscow with the plane, but it looks like they already left with some car/bus. I think they have 4 free days.
 
Here am I again, people! I have been to the show in Belgorod today - that was great!! :love:

That was the first time when I saw our favourite skaters in real life, and not in the screen (to be honest, it was the first time at all that I watched figure skating in real life), so I'm full of emotions, naturally! :yay:

Very, very sorry, but I haven't got any photos to share:( I'm a complete lamer in taking pictures, and the camera was not very good... I tried to take two or three photos of the skaters who performed at the very beginning, understood that it was no use (photos were very bad) - so I decided not to waste these precious moments, and to enjoy the show.

Tanya and Max did two show performances (as they did in all the previous cities), one was in the first half of the show, and another was Skyfall, which they performed right after the ice resurfacing - not at the end, as they usually do... The announcer explained, and they said it, too, that they were in a mighty hurry to Moscow for some reason, so they had to leave as soon as they performed, and that they were going to go there by car all night...

And I saw Max rather close. :love: While Tanya took the microphone and thanked the audience, he came up to some children in the first row, to take some toys and flowers which they wanted to give him - and that was not far from me...
 
I envy you borzaya :biggrin: Great that you got to see them so close!

Wonder why they had to hurry back to Moscow.
 
Wow, it's really great that you were able to see them borzaya. I'm so happy for you :)

Wonder too why they need to go back so fast.

Don't they follow the Eastern Orthodox calendar? I thought they did but I could totally be wrong. It would be like 2 weeks later then if so.

I'm a HUGE Fan of the Masquerade Waltz for short program. I'm a sucker for handsome uniforms. I agree that Bring me to Life is a little weird. I love the Black Swan though from that year. JCS is my favorite long program. It's just so unique.

borzaya I'm so jealous that you go to attend a show! What a fun and exciting experience!!!

They do, that's true. But I looked it up and this year seems to be one of the rare years where the orthodox and the catholic are on the same day :)
But yes usually it's later than the cathlic one :)

Oh nice! hope they get some time this weekend then.

Also since Max is a fan of hip and rap I think it would be fun if they did an expo performance to something in that genre.

Edit: check out Elladj Baldé. He's a canadian skater who has some awesome hip hop performances. But based on some of the "Happy" and "Art on Ice" clips I'm not so sure Max could dance like him. :laugh: It's really entertaining.

Were they the only ones that had to leave early? I wonder if they will manage to sleep in the car (or bus?) or if we can expect in-the-middle-of-the-night pics (particularly from Maxim) :laugh:

I saw one of S/S exhibtions to the song called "Leningrad".
I think it would be cool if V/T would ever choose that song too, 'cause they could put soo many emotions into that. I'd really love to see that. :bow:
Oh and of course because Maxim just loves the city :);)

He came back with the dog. I imagine she'd go with him and Dex also! If she's there I bet she looks really pretty.
