Yulia Lipnitskaya

Albert Demchenko and Ekaterina Bobrova.

Thank you. I thought I recognized her but I wasn't sure. And I had no idea who he was.

Listen to this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6Dakd7EIgBE. It's amazing

Also, the first time I heard Je T'aime was Yulia's 2012 Russian Nats Gala performance. It was only the second video I watched after her R&J FS. I love the song and after she's skated to it for three years it's her song (to me, not neccessarily to anyone else). Anyway, after I posted that video awhile back where someone changed the music someone said that the piece fit the program better than Je T'aime. I don't disagree precisely but that got me to thinking how amazing it would be if my other favorite prodigy Jackie Evancho sang a cover of Je T'aime and Yulia could skate to it. A day or two later I found out that Je T'aime is on the list of tracks for Jackie's album Awakening coming out in September. That is really spooky. Out of all the possible songs she could cover Je T'aime is one of them.

Thank you papa, Sam-Skwantch and Lambari for the answers.

I found this forum yesterday and I'll try to follow it in order to know more about Yulia. I'll try to post sometimes too. :)

Lol..no I'm not  I did notice that she only posted 13 videos on her VK page. Of those 13 one of them is V/M Vancouver EX. http://youtu.be/Si5X7feKxgs

She has a good taste. ;):)

I found the interview: http://www.fsuniverse.net/forum/showthread.php?85214-Article-about-Julia-Lipniskaya

"Who did I like? – muses Julia. - I do not know. Perhaps, most of all I liked Carolina Kostner, because her skating is very powerful and she has good height on her jumps. " The conversation reveals that she watches Patrick Chan because her coach tells her to, but he doesn't touch her soul. That she has a lot of respect for Evgeny Plushenko because of his character, and among pairs and dance teams she watches only those she knows personally, the exception is Sui - Han who do quad throw and quadruple twist.

It is from 2 years ago though, so she might've changed her mind and learn to like him by now.

Hey guys!
First of all I read many of her interviews as well, always amazed by her depth and maturity!

Does anybody know what would happen if her programm wasn't finished when the first grand prix event starts? Can she withdraw? Would she still stand a chance then? Don't think it will happen but I'm curious:)

And has anybody else noticed how amazing her chances are, basically in every competition this year? Since the two 'unbeatable' icons Mao und Yuna have retired...
Given she's in great form and consistent, her only real, serious competition consists of Sotnikova and maybe Gold and Radionova... or did I miss someone really strong?

And since I'm not sure if Sotnikova will be able to be consistent, Gracie often has some issues as well and even with a clean skate scored way under Yulia.. and Radionova, to me, simply still lacks jumping hight and components due to her age ( I think she will be incredible in the future)
Yulia has definitely amazing chances right?

She already has the program, and if wants to change it there is plenty of time.

Yes she has. She has to be good of course. :)

Oh, I don't think Julia would be allowed a luxury of cancelling her appearance at any of the Grand Prix competitions this season. Because she's not the only one in Russian ladies singles star basket. There's Radionova, Gosviani (and she's mature and very elegant, had recently switched to Sotnikova's coach and moved to Moscow, she's ready to fight), Sotnikova (not yet consistent but her coach says she clearly enjoys trainings and wants to become World's and European's champion as well), Tuktamysheva (who knows, she might come back stronger than it was for the last season), Pogorilaya (she was great last season and she matured too). She can't simply say, like, I don't like this program and therefore I can't compete. She will make her choice eventually and will skate the program that they choose even if they change it during the season.
I'd add Kaetlyn Osmond to the list though. She's clearly one of the judges favorites.
