Yuzuru Hanyu: 2014-15 Season

I am personally happy with this music because I love it, and I hope Yuzuru will be the best Phantom out there ! For sure he will fly high as phantom lol

Shae-lynn Bourne, doesn't usually seem to default to the warhorses, so I feel like it had to be chosen for a reason, like maybe she felt that she had a unique perspective to give to it. And Orser mentioned that Hanyu was too young to be pigeon-holed into a certain type of program.... Soooo basically I'm both cautiously optimistic() and petrified()
Same; I was super excited about Shae-lynn because she usually chooses cool/unusual music. I hope she hasn't actually let me down.

At least its not think of me since Kanas doing it (I don't like it and idk why)
it says it's a 4T+3T combination in the second half!

Wouldn't he be doing 3A3T? why would he do 4T3T in second half of the long program but not the short (though it does look like it)? I actually thought he'd always meant to do 4T3T in chopin just never managed to do it in the shows since he was tired (the base value gap from PW is bigger enough to justify the risk of the 4T in second half).

Re:costumes Even if its Wier, this means he'll wear a black costume, and he looks good in black:love:

What I'm really hoping for is a really good step sequence. Takahashi's mambo had craaaazy footwork.

In the short, the walley+3Lz+3T is really difficult, but I like the progression of the jumps with the combination (if executed well) matching up with the climax of the music leading to the StSq. I don't think a crazy 4T+3T would work well at that quiet part of the music of the current solo 4T.

But I think the 4T+3T is going to be very flexible, probably right at the halfway mark so if he doesn't have enough strength to tack on a 3T he can just do a 'tano 4T+2T and put the 3T onto the back of whatever jump with the 2T.

I loooooved Patrick Chan's POTO costume.

ANYWAY, more news coverage here (1) and (2). In (2) you can see the beginning of the program with vocals.

Nスタ writes and shows 4T+3T, meanwhile Every News writes 4T+2T.... we'll see what it actually is. As for why wouldn't he include it in SP, maybe someone more knowledgeable has an answer... for me... maybe he just wants to go forward step by step? Wasn't just a 4T in second half of SP already a big thing?

 3A-L-3S in NHK news (1.15) and he was doing choreo after the landing.
Maybe it is 4T3T then.
Ltz could be 3Ltz-2T-2T or Ltz on its own and 3A2T

Edit:lol im late

That's true.

I hope so too and I hope he can pull it off!

I've long resigned my ears to accept that "The Overture" in POTA will most likely in it but I'm still wishing Yuzu's team at least decided some not so redundant music cut. As for the layout, I'm both proud and scared for him. Proud that he's not content in being in a certain state but works to keep evolving. Scared though because the G-force with all those jumps and spins will slowly but surely take it's toll. As I told my sister, I don't want Dai ver 2.0.

I've posted this at Dai's thread, this kind uploader tweeted the links for FaOI Toyama in HD. Part 1 and Part 2

I really want Yuzuru to skate to arch angel by two step from hell; or he can use the arrangement that Ukrainian rhythmic gymnastic team use for their gala in 2012 : http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Jb9fZ_yPUIs

Anyhow, my prediction for his music in upcoming year are: Carmina Burana, Les Miserable, Gladiator and Phantom of the opera. :( (Gladiator would be nice though).

I would like to see him try program like Kostner's bolero as well, he has a perfect body for it.

There are a lot of good music from Japanese video game he could try too , I want to see someone skate to final fantasy 7!

Hahahahaha, one program off my prediction list , lets see the rest four years. I'm sure he will use rach2 too.

I want him to go after all of the warhorses, it can play out like this:

2014-2015 Chopin SP, POTO FS
2015-2016 LesMis SP, Carmen (Shae-lynn Bourne Version) FS
2016-2017 Pirates of the Carribean SP, Nessun Dorma FS
2017-2018 Rachmaninoff SP, Carmen (David Wilson Version) FS

My head would explode, everyone's head would explode, it would be an amazing quad.

EDIT: Also Hanyu would switch to Morosov for the pre-Olympic season, so Morosov can reuse his POTC program for Fernandez with Hanyu. After a turbulent year filled with awkward touchy-feely KnC's, Hanyu would dump Morosov with no explanation offered. Japanese media hunt Morosov for some answers, he refuses to give any sort of comment. Drama. Then Hanyu goes coachless until Pyeongchang.
