2025 World Junior Championships Pairs SP

save this photo we're going to need it for later

Unfortunately, I'm not going to be watching any more skating today after my kids now. (I'm watching the F1 testing now, and then I'll be catching up on this morning's MotoGP practices). But sure, I'll pop in with it before my evening meal.

And here are my kids!

:cheer: ALL THE BEST ZARAH AND ALEX!!! :cheer:

Oh happy tears! Zara is a true pair girl - gutsy and strong. A bit more work on their basic skating skills to improve the power, sync and solidity of the steps leading into their elements is where I would like to see some work. Perhaps some edge classes with ice dancers.

We were a bit late joining them getting introduced, because they decided to show a backstage shot.

Zarah started jumping a bit before Alex in the Double Axel.

Very awkward dismount from the Triple Twist Lift.

Next lift was good, though.

Ach, I can't keep up with them!

Really nice landing on the Throw Triple Salchow.

They went badly out of sync in the Combination Spin at the end.

Awwww, those shots of Zoe after they finished. She was so emotional.

And the hug and outpouring of emotion when they met off the ice.

You know, you can see that they are improving as they are getting more experienced.

Loved that shot at the start of the replays of Zoe giving them both a kiss on the forehead.

Not sure who the other coach is, but all four of them are happy.

They go into 3rd position.

:cheer: WELL DONE ZARAH AND ALEX!!! :cheer:

I am so behind in my watching. Good thing there is time for me to catch up on Four Continents and Junior Worlds in the lead up to Worlds.

Let there be a GoFundMe for that purpose! I will contribute :)

I am checking the swiss closely... as a Canadian fan, considering how our teams underperformed last year, i am wishful thinking but with the georgians back and the super strong chinese team, there is only one spot left on the podium... and i fear that the swiss will take it... 54 is a pretty big score. In any other circumstance I would cheer but now i fear LOL

go ava and yoni
go jazzy and kiki
and go marly though i am not sure you two are ready to medal after the injuries...
