But unfair judging would put the mood down, I mean not for now but for future competition. Fortunately it was OK. Well, apart from PCS again.

I didn't complain about the SP but the PCS gap was sorta something this time. But its still good enough for a clear win with quads. I hope they're a little nicer at the Olympics with her reputation now.

A very good international senior debut for Adeliia! She always looks good in red. A lot of attitude in the opening choreography as she passes the judges. 3Lz-2T with over a point in GOE to start. Lands the 3S like a cat. Crisp tango movement of her free leg, and wonderful use of her shoulders. She has lost none of her charisma as a performer (her Artsakh free skate as a junior is unforgettable), and plays to the judges, engaging them throughout. Misses a level on her step sequence, but I don't think it will matter, and it doesn't. She's a really good spinner as well, and my goodness, she comes out of that last spin and stops so sharply and precisely.

Realistically this was me after every element. I wasn't able to stay sitting in my chair for any of that program.
Then again I never can if I'm watching Adeliia. Or really at all during Nats for almost anyone.

66 is of course criminally low, but I was worried for much worse.

I knew the commentators would be positive but I'm happy to be here for it anyways 
Great skate.. it's the program enough for winning at the olympics ... if she had a normal season probably would be ... without that ... she will need a ultra-c ... because in PCS she will be robbed ... she will be in the 1 or second group in the SP ....so she needs to compensate for that in the long ...

)Unless she messed up herself there was no realistic chance to pull her out of the spots. The interesting question is what will happen at the Milano event and shortly after. I hope there won't be another "scandal".

It will be so interesting to see Adeliia on the podium with famous international skaters 
Any other sport would be investigated for this kind of manipulation.
What they did to Vika was awful as well.

With all due respect, Vika's program might not have had any interruptions, but it also had nothing else. I like Vika, but there was barely any presentation in that program, her skating skills are moderate (she might not be slow, but her edges are often shallow and her knee bend lacking) and the composition was mediocre (even compared to her own programs from four years ago). Her PCS are more than fair.
I predicted 31 in the SP which is what it was, but 67 in the free. Even below my dim expectation of these bandits!
