Stefania 5th in SP and FS....but that is the way it works sometimes.

And once the disappointment dies down, that is something she should be proud of.

Safonova should not have been 7th after the SP. So we all knew she would be moving up. But, Stefania did all that she could do by slotting into what was at the time 2nd behind her.

I am so proud of her.

Possible but she doesn't really look any different. Its not that common someone gets taller but looks totally the same otherwise. Maybe Loena is just short as well? Google is putting her at 5'3 so, I guess that puts Adeliia about where we all estimated ~4'11", maybe even 5', which ultimately isn't that short!

According to ISU data Loena is 160 cm and Gubanova 158 cm, not really tall. Of course Vika would be like a tower among them.

Adelia in less than best form still in off season mode, without the luxury of ultra-c, got the job done, no real errors, no falls, knowing she would held back with PCS so had no margin for error. Test of her nerves and passed it easily in the end.

With intensive training over the next 5 months I think she will be unstoppable in Milan.

And this event has proven we can have AIN skaters next season. They are quite popular with the crowd and viewers.
