What a dramatic programme to start us off with from Xan ROLS (FRA).
Such a mixture of music. Action music, Middle Eastern music, religious music.
And Xan wearing a black tracksuit(!) Bit of a damp squib compared to the music.
The skating certainly wasn't a damp squib, though. It was as dramatic as the music. Dramatic in the good way.
OK, in the results area, it is not a black tracksuit. Granted, he has black trousers. But the top is fancier than it looks from a distance, and it is green.
From what I remember, the Rols brothers are normally proper cacti. But, Xan was really good here.
He goes into the lead. Obviously. But, will he upgrade his current
Bronze to a 
Silver?
He will! Because Başar OKTAR (TUR) has withdrawn!

Well, we knew Samy HAMMI (FRA) was going to win overall. With a 20 point lead after the SP over the now withdrawn Oktar, it was a given. The question was will he win the Free?
I'm not so sure. He was good, but so was Rols.
Sammi looked frustrated when he finished.
Funnily enough, the French team-mates have the same colour scheme. Bottom half black and top half green. But the difference is that Sammi's is a jumpsuit.
No need to worry. He easily wins both the FS and overall.

The final day of the Gordion Cup is starting now, with an Advanced Novice FS double-bill, followed by a Junior FS double-bill.
Unfortunately, I will not be able to watch as I have too many overnight practices from the MotoGP and Formula 1 to catch up on before this evening. But, I will try to catch up over the next few days.
