I have been impressed with them. Pairs is definitely looking a brighter prospect for Isla at the moment than Singles. Perhaps she should consider concentrating on Pairs now.

And I am afraid that this is where I leave you. I'll pause the stream, and come back to the rest of the Pairs skaters after the F1 coverage is over.
I'll watch the Warm-Up during the adverts in the pre-race show, and edit my thoughts into this post.
All the best to those still to skate today.
At the start Zarah was still wearing her team jacket, while Alex wasn't.
They did two side-by-side jumps, but Zarah jumped a lot later than Alex on the first set, and they started off out of sync on the second set, but were back in sync when landing. And then went out of shot.
When they came back into shot, they looked like they were lining something up, but then had to abort when they realised that somebody was in the way (he was on his own while his partner was away taking off her jacket). So they went out of shot.
Then they came back into shot, and did another set of side-by-side jumps. And both sets were out of sync. The camera then started to follow them, but they weren't doing anything, so it started following another partnership. When the others were finished what they were doing, it picked Zarah and Alex up again, and they were doing their Step Sequence. It looked good.
The camera then went back to doing wide shots. And we saw Zarah and Alex lining up a throw, but they did it out of shot. But, there was lots of cheering from the audience, so I guess it was good.
Then shortly afterwards, the same thing happened again!
After a while, Alex came into shot on his own, and circled around. Then Zarah came in and met him, and they went out of shot together. When they came back into shot, he was holding her up in the air. And the camera zoomed in on them. It looked great!
After the one minute warning, Zarah came into shot on her own and did a sequence of jumps. She then went off. Meanwhile Alex came into shot, and you could see he was looking for Zarah. He headed towards Zoe, Chris and Lloyd at the boards, and they pointed him in the right direction. And then Zarah came and met him, and they went off together and did a half-hearted throw.
And then they were told to leave the ice. But not before they had a hug.

Mmmm. Zoe stayed with Wakana and Elliot, while Chris went to see to Zarah and Alex.

Katayama/Appleby another team that was insync and good on most elements. I think the lifts could use some more practice.

Beautiful Triple Twist to start with.
Side by side jumps. Out of sync on first jump. And then Alex fell on the second.
Zarah two-footed on landing the throw.
Death Spiral good.
I think Alex was worried about hitting Zarah with his foot on next side-by-side jumps.
Fun choreography when the music changed.
Beautiful throw.
How do they not get dizzy in that spin where Alex is holding Zarah horizontal?!
And the remaining spins were beautiful.
Yes, there were a couple of obvious mistakes that even I spotted. But, on the whole, that was really good!
They looked very disappointed when they finished. Particularly Alex.
Awwww, the tiny wee girl giving Zarah the cuddly toy, and Zarah giving her a hug.
Lloyd taking a family photo (well, Alex may as well be one of the family!)
When the replays finished, all five of them look disappointed.

I love this program for Wood/Lapsky. They had the most difficult elements so far, shame about fall on sequence and the lift mistake. Good job otherwise

Wood /Lapsky and Shenton/Kirby are still definitely junior... And I think Wright/Dracas are eligible one more season? Think he turned 22 this season.
