I forgot they were skating to Debussey's masterpiece. It always makes me think of Aleks Golovkina, and is making me sad again that she isn't competing at these Worlds (she didn't have minimums for a start).

Lift was beautiful.

So was Death Spiral.

Out of sync in Sit Spins.

And it looked like they finished a bit early.

Having seen Gabbie and Luc go into 2nd position, I think they are going below them.

Yep, into 3rd position.

It remains to be seen if they will get through to the FS. But, I'm just happy they they are competing here.

BTW, looks like I am not Geo blocked on ISU, as I thaught I would be... and so I can confirm that thwre is at least 10 sec delay on the Eurospot/HBO stream

If I have to leave a competition and come back to it the next day, I always read along the thread in time.

But, it can get tricky track when people don't mention in their posts who they are talking about. As a result, you sometimes you end up reading about a programme that is one or two ahead of where you are watching without realising!

That's why I make a point of naming who I am talking about in my posts.

Pity about the fall, otherwise I liked Valesi/Bidař a lot. They have good chemistry and look balanced.

Figure skating has an added benefit of being able to identify country flags - handy for pub quizzes/quiz shows (where there are almost never any questions about figure skating....)
