Music you wish someone would skate to

Didn't Kazakova & Dmitriev skate to it (mid - late 1990's)?
Right, I knew someone top-ranked had used it, but there were lots of lesser lights also. What the OP wants is for someone to use a modern adaptation. For myself, I'd turn the sound off if I heard that one, much preferring the power and build of the real piece, but the question asks for one's personal wishes so that's a legitimate answer.

I can't think of anyone specifically, but the original Zarathustra used to be used a LOT. Except most people thought of it as "that theme from 2001: A Space Odyssey" which came out in 1968. Skaters seized on that music with glee.

Also Tim Goebel in his 2000-2001 short program.

I think Kurt Browning skated to the Rocketeer once in a weird costume.

What I am gathering from the replies and responses is that no one in a couple decades has skated to the Rocketeer? If that's the case, someone should do it.

Also, just saw The Mandalorian and Grogu this weekend, and there are a couple good musical pieces.

I watched the movie Labyrinth the other week and thought an ice dance version of the creepy ballroom scene where David Bowie enchants Jennifer Connelly would be a novel idea- possibly for a rhythm dance (I believe that song is a waltz)?

There would be some interesting choices to be made about hair, makeup and costume ..

Choosing a song titled “As the world falls down” seems to be courting disaster though

The rhythm is 4/4, though, and the dancers around her seem to be doing the Foxtrot (or possibly a Rhumba, I'd need to see their feet). A waltz is 3/4.

i'm trying to manifest this with my blood!

we just learned that this season RD will be made by waltz + another rhythm so as 2nd piece is doable (what a great idea ah? :cautious: )
And a chance at fame in the GS costume contest ;)💃🕺
i saw an article the other day about Connelly's costume, it was made mostly of paper and broken jewels.

So i know there's already been a few Peaky Blinders themed programs, but the Rambert ballet version was on the television and I think this could inspire an amazing program for the right skater/team (Turkkila and Versluis maybe?).

i see it better for a single skater. think of a woman as Polly Grey

Actually, it's the show of my dreams: somebody (some company?) doing the entire Labyrinth on Ice.

How comes that no one has skated to this? (Or, has anyone already? I don't watch galas so maybe I just don't know.)
