You've seen the GPs and GPF. You've heard about the illnesses and injuries. You've seen Euros and 4CC. Now.... who are your top 10 finishers at 2008 Worlds?

You can place them in order as in a prediction or you can say No particular order.

In particular order: 1.Mao, 2. YuNa if she is healthy 2. If not Kimmie. 3 if Yuna is not healthy then Joannie or Miki.

In no particular order: 4. and 5. Joannie or Miki depending on above; 6. Kostner, 7. Mierer, 8. Ashley, 9, Yukari, 10 and 11 if necessary depending on YuNa skating: Vahaama, Bebe.

1. Mao ( she has been amazing since the GP. I hope she can deliver again.)
2. Yu-na (her injury will prevent her from skating clean, but the judges will give
a huge score anyway.)
3. Carolina (she has been pretty consistant this year and the judges seems to like her.)
4.Miki (she will try the quad, mess up on it and perhaps make another mistake somewhere.

5. Yukuri (she will land the 3 axel and go unnoticed, as usual)

6. Joannie (maybe she will be fifth and Kimmie sixth?)

7. Ashley (two clean programs but held down because of her bad flutz and little
experince.)

8. Kimmie (she will have a bad SP and then come back and skate well or vice
a versa.)

9. Sarah Meir. (with no 3/3 she will have to be perfect is she wants any higher.)

10. Bebe (oh please???????)

I am a bad fan.

I  before his feet in the hope of forgiveness, lol.

It's just that Takahashi has 2 quads in his long; I think the only way Johnny could really beat him is if he fell on both and as much as I'd like to see Johnny win worlds I'd be sad to see Takahashi do that bad especially when he's done so well all season. Although I don't want to see Takahashi win with ridiculously inflated scores like what I think is going to happen.

There are a lot of predictions. No one is just putting in a 'no particular order'. Everyone seems to know the placements. hmmm. and I hope it is not based on the last time you saw them skate, and definitely not just favorites.

It's a World Championship and its slippery and anything can and will happen.

Well, the only thing I understand about ice-dancing is nice costume vs. ugly costume and good music vs. horrible music. And I can tell if someone fell...

Men

1. The "Japanese boy" (c) (b/c so many ppl think he will, and in this particular case I'm with the majority)

2. Tomas Verner (b/c on the FS day he'll be on. Things like this happen to him occasionally)

3. Stéphane Lambiel (he really only has to be there, fysically. 40+ females on the judging panel will swoon and sigh, and give him PCS in 9s, if necessary)

4. Brian Joubert (b/c Valentina will be there to cheer him up, and if she fails, madame Joubert will find the right words)

5/6. Evan Lysacek (b/c he's a 2-time US Champ, and he's this good. Besides, TAT will teach him some magical moves just in time)

6/5. Johnny Weir (b/c something will happen, smth that will prevent Johnny from performing his best. B/c something usually does)

7. Chan or Buttle

9. Alban Préaubert (b/c the guy hasn't been himself all season long. Wonder why)

I don't know where to place Sergei Voronov and KvdP in this.

I don't dare putting them in any order, I don't want to upset skate gods...
I'm absolutely not sure about the ladies, somehow everything seems to be possible...
BTW it never happens the way I want it to be, so I prefer not hoping for anything

All I want is for Johnny to finally stand on the World podium and if he can't do that, to at least finish ahead of Evan. Sorry if that sounds nasty.

It does sound nasty - but that's alright with me... Just kidding. But it would be so nice for him after this season. He worked so hard, skated really well, had these unfortunate Nationals and even if he doesn't make the podium (and I don't think he will) I just hope that he has a good skate and can be happy with the overall season. And I hope that he is better than Evan - but I actually have nothing against Evan.. See, it's the judges' fault - they make me think that Johnny deserves payback :scowl:
