Her second competition is NHK.
Skaters there are:
Zijun Li
Gedevanishvili
Asada
Imai
Biryukova
Makarova
Shelepen
Czisny
Zawadzki
Akiko has 13 points for finishing second at SC. If she places 3rd, she will have 24 points, more than any lady who has done two events so far, except Kiira.
The only lady guaranteed a spot now is Kiira Korpi, so the other 5 spots will be determined at TEB & NHK
Still in the hunt for the remaining 5 spots, with a reasonable chance:
Wagner 15 points
Asada 15 points
Gao 13 points
Lipnitskaia 13 points
Suzuki 13 points
Zawadzki 11 points
Tuktamysheva 9 points (If she won TEB, she would have 24 points, and by virtue of the win, the first tie breaker)
Akiko's chances of the GPF are good, if she can place third or better at NHK, but if for example, Asada & Wagner each place 4th in their events, they would have 24 points, but beat out Akiko (in 3rd) because they have a first place placement. Say Lipnitskaia wins TEB and Gao finishes 2nd there, (or the reverse), they would have 28 points and 26 points respectively. Then if Zawadzki finishes second or better at NHK, she would beat Akiko too.
If she places second, she should be in with 26 points. Third requires other girls' to cooperate by skating badly.
