sad for Martinez, this was his chance :disapp:
Boyang did a quad, 4S was that ?
and Adian improved alot, he still needs work on his presentation but has a stable 3A now and his jump height is now huge
at least if Zhenya retires and Kovtun/Gachinski wont live up to the hype, there will be Petrov, Samarin and Pitkeev
So looking at the protocols, Brendan popped 3F (2Fe), 3Lz (2Lz fall), 3Lo (1Lo), 2A+2A SEQ (1A+2A SEQ - he did this at SDU too), got a level one on his change foot camel, level twos on his other spins, and level 3 on his footwork.
He did, however, get all +GOE for his 3A-2T and 3A. Positives?
I'm so sad for him.
Good for pitkeev! I thought bronze but he wins silver almost gold!
Not to worry. We don't want him to peak now cos he still has nebelhorn next month.
Russia has 3 talented 14 year olds
Pitkeev, Samarin and Petrov
at least that bodes well if Kovtun/Gachinski dont live up to their hypes
I almost withdrew in the Freeskate this afternoon. It was a real struggle to land my jumps & skate. My ankle was swollen again after 2 days additional practices.
Thanks to the medical staff of the Latvian Federation for “fixing” my ankle just before my event. Although was still painful, but they helped me get through w/ my program...
Michael Martinez almost withdrew because of an ankle injury, worse news is that he said a Mexican ( he probably meant Brazilian) fractured his foot and was sent to the hospital, I'm assuming its Manella. Feel so sad for him
anyone know Adian's FS music ?
I think Yagudin has used it or was that from Peter Pan ?
