her axel is much better than compared to Medvedeva, Radionova, Lipnitskaya and Sakhanovich who has low jumps with no flow
her body seems to cope well in her growing years like Sotskova and Pogorilaya, I guess tall and long limbs help them with their power when they get more muscles

Unless she jumps 3A, it doesn't mean much to me. I like her other jumps better. I think there is another young lady with good jumping ability as well.

aside from her, only Tuk and Sotnikova have nice axel flows and jumps
the rest are either wonky, hook like , low with no flow including Gubanovas

Well there's Wakaba with good jumps. But I think JWC this year is for Polina to take.

I would think the flip is the most effy, prone to wonky landings and also unclear edge calls. The lutz is her money jump. The delayed rotation, height and coverage is crazy. The axel is not that bad considering that Eteri's students generally do not have the best jump techniques and have scary axels. Tsurskaya really only needs to work on her basic skating skills and edge control and she would be the full package with good competitive nerves. The JWC and JGPF is hers to lose unless she makes mistakes and the feisty and consistent Japanese girls Shiraiwa and Mihara skate lights out.

Love her jumping technique, hope she maintains it! She will break figure skating records someday.

Everything she does just seems so effortless to her. After watching her FS in her jgp's it was like she was barely out of energy.

Seriously, I don't know why we even cared about the battle of the world champion and U.S. champion this weekend... THIS is where it's at!

I could watch this and marvel at those jumps all day. Pay attention to her flip edge at 2:19. I think it looked just fine.

Program wise, I think I prefer the more compact juniors version without the choreography sequence.. the extra 20 seconds is very filler-like :shrug: But there's nothing to complain about, really.

I think she is unbeatable this year :cheer:
