I agree with that. His skating seems to smooth, he'd look amazing with a bit more interesting program.

Denniss is so charismatic, he reminds me of Tomas Verner a bit, though thankfully he seems to have a better mind for competition! He is still young and grew a lot over the summer so I bet he will get a quad and the 3a more stable in time. He wasn't even old enough for senior competitions last season but this season I hope we see him at Euros, Worlds, and Junior Worlds!

Looks like Samarin is finally having better luck with his jumps. BTW, he looks like he could be Kovtun's younger brother. They are both tall and skinny and wear lots of black and the hair is similar too. I wish Alexander would leave Sokolovskaya for a better coach but at least he seems to be improving.

Daniel is being pretty consistent. So far this season he's always landed on the podium, never lower than 2nd place. Keep it up, kid!

Maybe this way his reputation scoring will become high enough to break into the elite. If he keeps the consistency and is engaging, his turn to score 85 PCS out of the blue will come.

I'm not usually ones to bash costumes, but Kovtun's puffy-sleeved shirt has go to go. It's a bit distracting. Especially since it flaps. A tighter-fitting sleeve shirt would work just fine and be less distracting.

Hehe, Kovtun kinda looks like Urmanov circa 1994 in this costume.
