I hope it was Whitney's. I love Dolly's singing however, the orchestration of Whitney's version is far superior and quite a bit more modern.

It was definitely Whitney. Dolly wrote the song and performs it quite differently.

It's every dancers dream job to be cast in "The Best Little Whorehouse In Texas" I really like Dolly's Ballad "Hard Candy Christmas" From the Movie. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ivLpzyTA9ikLike I said, It's not Dolly's voice, it's the music behind Whitney's version that IMO makes it the better version.
