2014-2015 GPF Mens Short Program 12/12

Just wait for the scoresheet. Probably lost level in spins & steps. lower GOE (which is also correct)

Looks like a foot down on 4-3. That's the money jump. You can't mess it up.

I'm pretty sure that 4-3 still got + GOE... and that shouldn't have cost him too many points. I mean, 10 points.... if Hanyu hadn't fallen, then 10 points between their two clean skates makes sense.

I bet that Voronov and Hanyu will both get -1's on their combo. :rolleye:

Not unexpectedly, the pressure got to Mura. But strangely enough, I'm finding the program less and less jarring with every watch, despite his jumps being worse with every successive take.

Ah well, the good performances weren't going to last. Thank you, Sergei, no matter what the judges say.

Already halfway through.

Yuzuru HANYU ..........94.08 (TES 51.11, PCS 43.97)
Sergei VORONOV ......84.48 (TES 45.90, PCS 38.58)
Takahito MURA .......78.35 (TES 40.98, PCS 38.37)

Hanyu's score makes sense given that the ISU seems to be obsessed with lipping and flutzing as opposed to falls.

The 4T and the 3A are world class.
Remember his best was 101+. He fell on a 3T, not like he fell on the money jumps.

From my understanding, if you fell on the back end of combo, the -GOE will only apply to the back end jump. In this case, 3T so he still get full credit the 3Lz + what ever left of the 3T. Correct me if i am wrong?

Spins level, step level. 1-2 points for each elements do add up. Their TES are only 6 points apart.

Right, even with the fall! I don't understand the disparity in scoring for the men.
Basically I think the judges have decided who they want on the podium already. Prior to the actual skating. Same thing for the JGPF judging.
