I thought we were gonna see another clean skate until the hard fall on the 3Lo. She was doing so well until then.

Junior women have to do a 2A in the Short as one of their required elements, so they can only do a 3A as part of the combination, which is risky and offers relatively little reward.

Well done to Mark for pointing out that KIM Yujae (KOR) will be in pain after the fall. We often forget that.

When making out Predictions, I tend to aim to put as many Japanese and Korean skaters on the podium as I can get away with, with the bias towards the Japanese.

But in this case, I couldn't resist the temptation to put both of the Kim twins onto the podium.

How amazing would that be for a set of twins to be on the podium at as big an event as this?

They are in the bottom two positions, with just Mao Shimada to skate.

Depression when you realise she was born in worst possible year for her.Missing Olympics because of those stupid ISU rule is sad story...
The levels she brings is just completely on another planet than anyone.You can see this clearly.There is nothing wrong you can say about her skating.
