So happy for her! It wasn't her best performance of that program but definitely very good!
Our commentator mentions that he needs more speed as he goes for the big jumps triple axel and quad.

Yeah, it seemed that he didn't have a lot of speed coming into the jumps.
Looking at the protocals -- thrilled to see that Samantha got a 3Lo-1L-3S ratified! And fun to see she almost pulled out 7-triples (3Lo was < and lutz was e!). Hannah Miller did a 3T-1L-3S at Lombardia. Fun to see the U.S. ladies trying to pull the harder combos.

You can tell she really loves the program and I think that's what's relaxing her and allowing her to skate so well. People tend to forget that back in her early days Liza T had almost clockwork consistency on her jumps. Now that her confidence is returning it seems to have boosted her consistency as well. I really love the programs for her, especially the FS...it just plays to her strengths so well.
I do think she'll need a harder 3-3 going forward but as of now I'm feeling pretty good about her chances this season. People were counting her out but based on these early performances I think she's coming into he season as a dark horse.
Loved Samantha's FS (if it's possible for someone to own Carmen, I think she's the one right now) and so happy to see storm back and grab silver.

I'd like the see Fleur Maxwell's PB skate! She seriously gets so undermarked on PCS it's crazy.
Just overall, right? I know she's she scored higher in the FS.
126+ is about right for a six triple skate considering her jumps are really good.

Yes PB for SP and total score. She scored over 130 at 2013 Euros' free skate. If she adds the seventh triple (as in NT she did 3t+3t at the beginning of second half) she can achieve that score again.
