Polina probably should be ahead of Akiko. Yes Suzuki is much more mature but she had some bad landings on her jumps.

Kurt Browning and Carol Lane were really impressed with Polina. They say she doesn't stand out so much in practice, she seems to really come into it when it's her turn to perform.

Wow Polina! Again, what a beautiful skate!

Akiko was also a joy to watch as usual, a pity for the mistakes! But it was wonderful to see her smile after her free skate.

Quick question: Does Mao's 8-triple program still count as breaking a world record even if the triple toe was UR?
