It looks like Ashley's combo got downgraded to a 3Lz/2T, and then got negative GOE. That cost her about 5 points. I'm glad she kept it together, though, she's a tough competitor! Wow, all 3 US ladies doing really well!

SO happy for Yuna and Carolina! I hope Mao also has a great skate, what a great competition!

For once I actually thought the jump was pretty good. Didnt catch the edge exactly, the 3T was the best she has done. I am happy that they did take into account the GOE they gave Yuna though.

I have this feeling it'll be Torino 2006 all over again, with a virtual 3-way tie between Kim, Kostner and Asada, just like it was with Cohen, Arakawa and Slutskaya. Will make for an exciting free skate. I've been critical of Kostner before, when she first started, but was a beautiful skater she turned out to be. Would be a deserving swan song for her. That short program was spellbinding and you have to recognize the drive and hunger to change her combination. Bravo for her.
