What's the relation / factor(*0,5?) of hip-ography to PCS?

Javi picks up where Joubert left off in the hip-ography department! :blush: I like this program for him, despite the Orser Cheesefactor (tm).

I can deal with Javi's hip action because his programs are way better.

Good thing we don't get scored for the SP because I would have a big 15 pts in the mens if we did!

It's not the end of the world. He only 5 points behind third. He can still move up with a good FS.

Not so easy to come from behind with so many guys having higher tech content. Don't get me wrong - I love him. But with so many guys having quads in short and long, and even multiple quads in programs.....

Wow Jason in second warmup group for free skate. He really needs to get past this stage where he is relying on triple jumps and perfect skates.

It's partly that and I think it's partly because the music for that short is just tedious. A big misstep. But you know, it's only his second year, and live and learn.

I know makaihime. I love Jason and all but Taka's skating skills are tops. The judges just don't want to give him justice.

Nice, Javi! Jumps were on today, and the program hits all the nuances of the music. Only slight problem: Is it just me, or did he (like Max) almost look like he forgot the choreography after the quad? Nah, it's probably just me seeing things...

But... my predictions! :hopelessness: I had too little faith in Kozuka, Brezina, Ge... Also should've gone with my instincts and placed Max ahead of Jason.

Yay for Javi! So worried when he fell during warm up. Finally a smile on Orser's face!

So far very happy with the standings. Should be a fun LP tomorrow!

A truly superb men's short! Loved it! Particularly happy for Ge, Voronov and Fernandez! The skating world needs guys like these!

It cannot be understated how much I love Javier's program. It's one of the few lyrics programs I like this year, and it's PACKED with content. But there's still time for the nuances and interpreting the music. Those skidding spread eagles before the 3A is my favourite part. And good on him, that most definitely clinched his spot in the GPF.

Easily the best men's SP on the GP in a while.
