Didn't have him in my Skate Pick predictions, though, which was foolish of me....)

Don't feel foolish - he is usually a better SP skater than free skater.

I expect lots of movement in the free - and nice that most of the skaters scored at least 80 points - competitive field here.

This is very encouraging for them and gives them a good baseline for where they are at.

What boggled my mind is Hiwatashi's score. The rest seems okay from what was delivered live

the spins on screen were not good.. but the speed and attack were great. He was performing ! Now... the question about PCS. don't get me started. Edgadze probably should have the lowest PCS of this event IMHO.

To be fair, I do suspect that Eteri has some affection for Egadze. She often seems a tad warmer towards him than she does towards her young female skaters. I think I’ve even seen her smile in the KnC with him on rare occasions!

She was different with Morisi too, compared to what she was like with the lasses.
