No, and other than his GPF assignments, no (unless someone more knowledgeable wants to add?)

We have been wildly speculating about his programs. Given his adventures with bats, some say Batman. Given our lack of knowledge so far, I say "You don't know me" (Ray Charles version, of course).

Your guess is equally valid.

Aliev beat him in the FS by less than 5 points. Think about that---once Vincent gets his 3a, that margin is gonzo.

It is, but I can't help thinking, how about three? Alexei Krashonozhon (sp?) has a bronze. If he won his next event (unlikely, but possible), he could make it too. Probably too much to ask right now, but why couldn't he?

He is being Joshua - quiet, secretive, and keeping to himself. I am sure he is quite content to let the discussions be blazing rows over Jason's quad, whether Max's turn as the Swan Prince will be rewarded, debates of Chen's level and prospects. Meanwhile, I would bet he is working with Buttle, quietly piecing together another breathtaking masterpiece that will leave us all in floods of tears over its beauty.

And then he will stand, and they will be shoulder-to-shoulder, the graceful artist, the warrior Swan Prince, the elegant dancer - and together, they will go to Boston, and show the world what they are made of, that they as a team are to be feared - a perfectly balanced team the like of which the US will not have seen in years.

Unfortunate for Alexei, his event is stacked. It includes Roman Sandovsky (gold at Bratslavia) Soto Yamamoto, Dennis Valisjes and Daniel Samahoin. If he was at JGP Croatia, which has a weak field, he would have a better chance.

I understand why Alexei has a tough field considering he was only fourth at Nationals; but Sota seems to have a seriously tough road to the final for someone who won junior bronze last season. Colorado was definitely the deepest field thus far, and now this. OTOH, putting all these guys in the same event means they all have the chance to knock each other right out of the final. (Crossing fingers that somehow Deniss will survive this).

Well, if he is going to be trying these things, it's probably for the better that he doesn't get to go to JGPF - one less competition will help conserve his energy/body. I also imagine his coaching team has carefully planned out a timeline for the 4Lo.

Just checked the entries pages, and Daniel is listed for Spain rather than Croatia.

My mom used to play this around the house when I was little. I like it! I like that he chose something not overused in skating. And also, the fact that he updated the info hopefully means he's on the mend.

His connection with the audience in Linz was fine, and in fact his PCS score was almost 4 points higher than it was in Bratislava. In Linz the tech team scored his 4s< again---and the Russian judge gave him -2 on it. She was the only judge to do that---4 gave him 0, 4 gave him -1. The overall GOE deduction on the Linz 4s< was less than a point compared to the -2.63 he got in Bratislava. He cleaned up the URs on the loop and 3z combo in Bratislava, but got a -0.6 ding on his Linz 3f.

Knowing Vincent (he is a perfectionist), he won't put 3a into his programs until he knows he can do it cleanly and without interrupting the flow of the piece. Considering that he just learned 4s in the late summer, it may not be that long before we see 3a from him.
