Basically, by GP results, Bobrova/Soloviev and Katslapov/Sinstina both had silver/bronze in their events. Stepnova/Bukin were third after the SP at Trophee Eric Bompard and Illkykh/Zhinganshin earned bronze at one event and was 5th at the other. THe top four are expected to be these folks.

They accidentally acquired that nickname on here when Snow63 revealed that Ekaterina's surname is derived from the Russian word for a beaver.

And Mrs. P has called them that ever since!
