I wonder if Adam is going to keep the quad lutz in his programs or will skate clean w/o it?

Looking at the entries, I think it will be Denis Ten or Adian Pitkeev for gold/silver. Possibly Adam for bronze if he's clean.

This year Croatia is pretty much withdrawing it's local talent for international skaters who have some Croatian heritage in their blood. A real shame really, but due to lack of enthusiasm by the federation they have let many of their local skaters down and now have to look abroad to import "talent". The pair team have never skated together in Croatia before, the men's skater has never skated here and only 1 girl/woman skater is entered. All I can say is the Croatia federation is not fit for purpose, just hang out in their offices, take home their pay check and only show up sometimes at a major event (and even then not always). Main problem (apart from local dysfunctional federation members) is they don't have a united national plan, no national coach and all local coaches only have so much experience/knowledge that they are just not able to take their skaters up a notch to be competitive on an international level.

My stream stopped for a few seconds in the middle, but I saw enough; I only missed his single jump. The commentator was gushing at the end as well. He did a beautiful quad-triple and a ridiculously high and gorgeous 3A out of nowhere. Step sequence lovely as usual. My stream stopped again just before they announced the scores so I don't know what he got, but wouldn't be surprised if it was over 90.

Looking at the entries, I think it will be Denis Ten or Adian Pitkeev for gold/silver. Possibly Adam for bronze if he's clean.

According to someone who watches this event live in Croatia, Adam did 3F instead of quad lutz at the training
