2015 Japan Open

if Mao did not bomb in the short program at the olympics i thinks her freeskate score would have been a lot higher. judges held her down a lot because she skated so early. they had to leave room in the marks for the other 15 skaters in case they were better. after a year and a half off to come out and deliver a 142 program is quite amazing! gotta give her mass kudos! she has never did that well this early in a season and only did better 1 time ever. hopefully she can build on this and i pray that she is not peaking too early.

Liza's 128.34, 3rd. Oop, someone beat me to it. :hopelessness:

So happy for Mao's comeback!

Whaaa. I want to see Mao's new FS program! Surprised it is not that high! Wonder what happened ...

Mao's tech score was over 2 points higher than her PCS: Tech: 71.88 (top score) and PCS (top score) is only 69.82. PCS sounds deflated a bit. But, she must have skated well considering her tech score.

Isn't Liza's score too high for what she did? She is actually the worst skater in the group.

Did Adelina do well or something? How does she have the 2nd highest PCS? And why only 3 behind Mao and quite a lot ahead of the others?

Hehe Liza still got lower PCS than Adelina... something is in the ISU supplied bottled water.

Still a big score for no 3-3 though...eh. Can't wait to see it:yes:

So Mao is likely to dominate this season. She's landed more 3As than any girls/women/ladies in history. Someone who's had one decent season wants to challenge Mao Asada?
