i just caught myself dancing to Bolero while washing my face/brushing my teeth. I think this may be a sign of watching too much skating this week. Does anyone else develop weird habits during the peak of skating season?

Obviously, this question goes in the dance category because dance moves are hard not to imitate while rooting for your favorite, although I think my ridiculous dancing may be inspired by Kostner more than Torvill/Dean. Who else does this?

I haven't been dancing but I can't get the Paso Doble music out of my head from the SD, it is almost as bad as the CD music. I really hope there is more variety musically next year.

It's only two flights. I can make it. I will not conk out sitting at my computer.

Hopefully the music will interesting not dirgy and somnolence producing.

I'm not a dancer, but I found myself making up lyrics to Bolero as I dragged through my day. "I'm making breakfast and I'm gonna have eggs...maybe bacon and some toast..." (You get the general idea, I'm sure.) It's sleep deprivation. That's my story and I'm sticking to it!

Oh god, this is what happens from staying up for Worlds! I'm staying up for dance tonight, so who knows what I'll dance to tomorrow morning after the exhaustion? Will it be Mozart? Will it be Ed Sheeran?

I'm not a dancer personally, but my personal jammin' session is never better than during Worlds.

Wait, what? You know, I did think there was something a little different in the energy between Madison and Zach, but that's still surprising. And yeah I don't know them, and I usually don't like to comment on relationships, but they really just seemed right together. I'm a little irrationally sad about this.

Awwww what a lovely compliment. I used to have a friend I watched skating with, but then she would spend most of the time screaming, Look at his GORGEOUS BUTT!!!! And while I thoroughly enjoyed that (and did my share of windowshopping--heh heh--too, it's a bigger pleasure to be able to yak about skating with people who are passionate and knowledgeable about it. So thank YOU!

Makes me sad that the shibs are in this group. I think the need to make some changes for next season. They have the skills so they need to figure out why they aren't getting the marks.

Probably nerves left over from the SD results. As little as a change of costume is it's still a big thing. I'm thinking it settles Maia to compete in a dress she's already done well in a competition in. It's such a mental game figure skating, the smallest things seem to have the biggest impact sometimes.

They missed out on being in the final group by less than a point and only five points behind first....They are getting the TES again, at least. I do agree they need to make chanegs, but I'd expect that as part of the development process.

I totally agree. And there is something about Cizeron for me beyond being handsome, its his carraige, the way his body moves on the ice that is compelling. And his partnering skills are almost swoon worthy for me.:
