I adore P/C and find them transporting and magical, special, in a way that C/B and W/P aren't quite. But I have to agree with this. P/C were not at their best tonight, they had visible errors, and they did not deserve the TES they got!

I agree that P/C were definitely scored very generously for their performance, but I'd still place them above C/B on the night.

I think P/C's lady coach (?) is having a seizure... a seizure of happiness!

But seriously I have no idea what's going on any more. Ice dance has to be the hardest to judge for the casual viewer. So many different, subtle, potential areas of strength/weakness.

I guess I don't understand ice dance judging at all..but I'm sure the protocols will explain some of it.

That Mozart program WON them the Gold. Bonus points for the sheer brilliance of the program. I don't think I've seen another program that's been able to catapult its skaters to medal glory the way this Mozart FS has.
