2015 Worlds Free Dance March 27

I'd put P/C in the lead, too. I'd say "bravo, judges!" but I haven't the slightest clue when it comes to the technicalities of ice dance. I just know what I like.

Aw, Danse Macabre. My knowledge is admittedly limited, but that's my favorite piece of classical music. I wish the Shibs had tackled this one. They can do a gorgeous waltz like we all know they can, but could have added some Tim Burton-esque character to it and been really oddball and awesome.

Probably not but who cares? It was miles ahead of C/B.

Maybe everyone who's been complaining about the scoring/points of C/B up to this point, or saying C/B had a "huge" lead? If you want to see some scoring disparity, look no further than P/C here.

That Mozart program WON them the Gold. Bonus points for the sheer brilliance of the program. I don't think I've seen another program that's been able to catapult its skaters to medal glory the way this Mozart FS has.

to this - I hope only that next season they'll step up and do something even better for FD

^^Yup. I wonder how they'll top this.

For those complaining about C/B winning w a mistake over W/P, remember W/P had a deduction. and C/B's mistake was tiny. I think it could have gone either way tonight, but I don't think C/B winning is a terrible miscarriage of justice. I love both teams.

It's a ridiculous miscarriage of justice. The reason why C/B won was not technical, but PCS, which is a big load of nonsense. There is no explanation. W/P had stronger edges, more complex holds with speed, unison, better lines, and incredible interpretation of the nuance of the dance. The programs were back to back. This should not be difficult. This is simply wrong, and W/P, once again, were royally ripped off. Unbelievable. I hope that there are some serious questions asked, and an investigation. There is funny business going on here.

I don't understand all this hostility toward the Americans.Maybe P/C were a little better than C/B tonight, but the competition is for two programs. And overall, I think Chock and Bates deserved it. Still crying judging fix for the Americans anyone? After this, and also the Shibs? ;)

Solid skating from Cappellini / Lanotte, no visible wobbles and that TES looks decent as well. Their skating does seem shallow right after P/C

FD: 51.67+53.44 = 105.11 (SB), 177.50 (PB), 4th (out of 20)

It's like what someone who was interviewed in a documentary I once watched: the judges had to vastly overscore P&C to makeup for the previous overscoring.
