oh no, this is a lot better!!!

I add myself to the amused watchers! I don't even know why people have not made a show on Russian ID (with English subs), with all the drama, the couples coupling and uncoupling at light speed, the love affairs and so on it could be useful for the sport's popularity!

Katsalapov and Morozova, though? :eekn: :scard7:

LOL. Imagine if they would though. I would probably cringe on the first minute of the show. 😁

Cizeron doesn't need the drama. He already has a partner who has shown that she is willing to put in the work to get better which has allowed them to get to the top. On the other hand there is a question sometimes about Elena's work ethic considering her past with Nikita and the fact that she wasn't in top physical shape this season.

I don't think that comment was meant to be taken seriously.

The fact that they would be looking for new partners does not mean that they are not a couple off the ice anymore. In fact it would be the most mature attitude of Nikita in a long time.

Not that it proves anything but Popova and Vlasenko were still an off ice couple when she tried out with Mozgov.

And I'm surprised TSL wasn't looking into why Anthony Ponomarenko was hanging out at Novogorsk with Morozov's skaters earlier in the fall.
Carreira/Ponomarenko were around for JGP Russia, and several of Morozov's skaters are friends of his. They've had a really successful season and he would probably have to leave Igor so I don't know if he's interested right now.

Ponomarenko's not going anywhere. He and his partner are going to be the top US Junior ice dancing team coming back next season and they will be in the running to win Jr Worlds.

I guess for same reason people keep telling russian ladies to switch countries?

I understand now. Maybe if he can't get out of the US as he gets older. With all his American training he's be the best male ice dancer in Russia.

Can we talk about those recent black and white Instagram photos of Stepanova and Bukin? What's up with that? I'm lovin it! Hope they could channel that feel to their programs next season.

Less black and white glamour shots and more level 4 elements

Yes and less of her butt just sticking in the air and him being exhausted in the end by dragging her around. Phew!! It looks like the judges don't realize how awful her posture is until they see it juxtoposed with everyone else in the EU. Also if Stepanova would pay more attention to what she's doing on ice rather than telling everyone just how awesome she is she might just be able to pull it off with Ivan. They made too many obvious silly mistakes at the EC for them to be claiming they don't understand their low levels. But hey, this is what happens when Russian Nationals is really a fiasco than an actual competition. :rolleye:

But more importantly, I seriously wonder if Drozd will have a new partner next season because Loboda just seems so all over the place. If they could find him a good match that team could go places with the right coaching. He is very strong in all areas. He also very tall and he still makes twizzles look easy :)

What about Morozov's daughter Annabelle? She might be too young (she's born in 2001) since he's aging out of junior, but I remember that she was/is looking for a partner. I really don't know much about her, but I've heard she's very good.

I have no opinion on whether he should get a new partner btw. I really haven't watched that much of them.

After the 2018 Olympics, there will be retirements. Once they move up to Senior, C/P should be good enough to make top 3 of the US teams who are left.

There really is no guarantee the same would apply in Russia.
