Holy Cow!!!! Canadians, it's 63 degree's her in Clovis, Ca. and I'm complaining about being cold. I looked at the temperature in Calgary......It's 1 degree!!

Don't mix up the F and the C in temperature! Canada is a metric nation like the rest in a world without the US where only the currency is in metric.

Didn't he wear this outfit last year but with his old free skate? Regardless unless this is an Armani haute couture piece he could go in my closet and pick something. I guess he do an ombre shades of grey thing to represent the journey he is on or in shades of blue might work. Some of the men's costumes in particular this year have had a rather pedestrian feel - very from my closet or bottom of the laundry basket almost approach. i don't even know why patrick has any bling on his top - it is barely noticeable. People have to remember they are performing and they are usually from a distant - the fact that a close up it i s hard to see the bling suggests if you can't see it don't spend the money. Costumes need to be theatrical - not necessarily over the top but be considerate where most will see the costume - even at ice level his bling is barely noticeable - less noticeable that most skaters lip or edge.
 
Yes it is his old costume from the Chopin program last season. All his costumes since his return have left much to be desired: the purple sweater vest, the suspenders borrowed from Javi's closet, and this two years in a row minimalistic grey barely-there-bling.

Granted, I much prefer this approach to the flamboyant style of some of his peers. ;)

i will agree on the MTK sweater... that's a no no... but the grey pants were yummy :) i have something for geeky trousers ;)

Skaterboy : if you are able to provide clothing from your closet for Patrick you must have a perfect body... we want to see pictures.

And I don't care for bling.... patrick doesn't need it... he can wear a very simplistic costume as far as I am concerned, just not the Chopin twice in a row...
I really don't think it's a question of money considering the cars Patrick drives.

Sarah : if you think Patrick stole suspenders from Javi, would that explain that Javi's are actually just taped on? HAHA at least Patrick wears real ones, you know the kind we can play with while ermm.. okay i let my imagination go and my fingers stop the typing ;)

Good grief, have you been drinking already? :laugh: It's too early in the morning to be this frisky! Granted, I'm sure our livers appreciated the two week gap between GP events, so we've got some catching up to do. Let's call it "damage control for our (liver's) damage control."

Maybe Patrick should hook up with Vera Wang. Or would Evan Lysacek not allow it?
